Servers in Germany

Mock-up of a session view for the fictional client Maren K. with the current goal, a recap of the previous session, two open commitments from earlier sessions, one commitment from this session and the field for another. Goal and recap are already there, and you assign a new commitment in one click.

Before Bold Bloom

Your working material is spread across several tools.

Before a session you open several tools until you have the full picture again. What you agreed on mostly lives in your head. And for a progress report you reread old notes.

With Bold Bloom you open an individual session and you are back where you left off. How a session runs

1:1 coaching

Start every session where you left off.

  1. Before

When you open the session, the goal, the recap and open commitments are already there.

  2. During

You take notes and assign new commitments to your client in one click.

  3. After

You pick a follow-up template. Date, topics and the commitments from this session are already filled in; you check the text and send it.

  • Initial consultations and pipeline. You record enquiries and initial consultations and see which phase each one is in.
  • Goals with history. You mark a goal as reached or reopen it.

Mock-up of a follow-up dialog for the fictional client Maren K.: template “Session summary”, subject and message already filled in with the date, the topics discussed and the new commitment from this session, with the send button below.

Team coaching

Your team session runs in one view.

Every team has its own workspace. In a team session, agenda, timer and modules run in one view. From Practice onward, six retro formats are included, from Start / Stop / Continue to Sailboat. You don’t need to build a board first.

Retrospectives from Practice

  • Guests without an account. The team joins by code or link. In anonymous mode, the link between person and contribution is deleted when the board closes.
  • Mood checks. The results show the answers in aggregate. You can hand that summary to the company as a PDF.

Mock-up of a team session of the fictional team Nordstern: the timer shows 12:40, below it the modules for this session with duration and status, one of three completed. Plus the Sailboat retro format with the columns Island, Wind, Anchors, Rocks and Sun, and a mood check whose answers are shown in aggregate.

Methods

Your methods as modules, ready for your team sessions.

Every module has a duration, a description and usage notes. You pick it for a team session and drag it into the running order. Your own modules are saved privately, and you can submit them to Bold Bloom for review.

  • Cheat sheet library, on every plan: PDFs in German and English on Leadership & Management, Agile & Productivity, Communication, Development & Growth, Mindset & Self-leadership.
  • Coaching Toolkit from Practice: Affektbilanz (ZRM), BloomDrivers, Leadership Values. The Studio plan adds Bold Collaboration Compass and TeamPulse.
  • Icebreaker: Two truths and a lie 15 min
  • Role analysis in the team 60 min
  • Active listening 45 min
  • Building a feedback culture 90 min
  • Situational leadership 120 min
  • Conflict resolution strategies 120 min

Example modules with their duration, for illustration. You add your own modules yourself.

From a coach

Built from practice, for the reality of a coaching day.

I'm a systemic coach and an agile team coach. My working material used to live as files on my own machine, my notes in one program and my appointments in another. Bold Bloom started as a collection of my own modules, because I wanted one place to quickly see where a team and my clients stand, what we worked on last, and which methods might help.

That's exactly where Bold Bloom came from.

Not because coaching can be planned, it can't. But because every session brings its own surprises, good preparation, clean notes, and the right methods are what let me be freer and more present in the room.

Bold Bloom brings sessions, teams, notes, and coaching methods together in one place, so I can put my attention where it belongs: on the person, the team, and what's really needed right now.

Founder's own team-coaching practice

One place to work from, instead of many.

Three team engagements running at once, each with its own history. I open the session and the thread is right there, instead of piecing it together before every session. Whatever I work out visually, I link from the session.

Your practice

Clients book on their own, and the invoice starts from the session.

  • Booking page. Clients book themselves, on your booking page or right on your website.
  • Capacity. You set a weekly and a daily limit and see in good time how full your week is getting.
  • Invoice from the session. Bold Bloom takes the date, the service and the amount you set on the session into the draft. You check it, issue the invoice and have the PDF. In your own name, under the German small-business rule or with standard VAT.
  • Also: a calendar feed for the calendar you already use, analytics from Practice, your own branding and two-factor sign-in.

Mock-up of a capacity overview with example data: warning that Thursday is nearly full, 13h 30m planned, weekly limit 18h, 4h 30m remaining this week.

Reflection and supervision

A private journal and a proof of your coaching hours for supervision.

In “My reflections” you write about your own work, with an optional self-assessment and tags. Only you can see these entries, and they are not used in any AI evaluation.

  • Supervision portfolio (from Practice). Bold Bloom compiles your sessions into a proof of coaching hours. Clients appear in it under a case label, without names or email addresses.
  • You decide as you write whether an entry should go to supervision later.

Mock-up of an entry in “My reflections” with the note that only you can see it, and the “Flag for supervision” checkbox that takes the entry into the supervision portfolio.

Confidentiality

Privacy first.

This is how we handle your data and your clients’ data.

  • Encrypted, field by field.

The notes, topics, commitments and follow-ups of a session, your notes on the modules, the results of the exercises and the free text from feedback and mood checks are each encrypted in the database — not just the connection to them. Not encrypted, among other things: the fields you search by, and the records of an initial consultation.

  • The servers are in Germany.

Database and files sit on servers in Germany, with a provider bound by an Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement.

  • AI only sees what you hand it.

Your notes go into an AI feature only if you release them there explicitly. It does not happen on its own.

  • You take your data with you.

You request an export in your settings (JSON, CSV or XML); the download link arrives by email and is valid for 24 hours. You delete your account yourself. It disappears from the backup copies within 90 days at the latest.

Frequently asked

What coaches ask before signing up.

Can the company that hired me see what we discussed one-on-one?

No. There is no login in Bold Bloom for a sponsoring company. Your notes are yours. What a company learns is what you choose to pass on.

Do I have to tell my clients that their data is stored here?

You are the controller for your clients' data; Bold Bloom processes it on your behalf. There is a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR that you can read before signing up. What your own privacy notice has to say depends on your practice.

Do I get a proof of my coaching hours for supervision?

From Practice onward, the supervision portfolio compiles a proof of coaching hours as PDF or CSV for any period you choose. Clients appear in it under a pseudonymised case reference only. The reflections you flagged come along as part B: in the PDF you can leave them out, in the CSV they are always included.

Can I add my own methods and formats?

Yes. You create your own modules, with a duration, a description and usage notes. They are saved privately first, and you can submit them to Bold Bloom for review. You drag them into the running order of a team session.

Can people without a Bold Bloom account join a retrospective?

Yes, they join by code or link and need no account. All that is stored for them is a display name they choose and an avatar, no email address. In anonymous mode the link between person and contribution is deleted when the board closes, not merely hidden. Retrospective content is not sent to any AI provider.

Does Bold Bloom replace my calendar?

No. Bold Bloom publishes a calendar feed that you subscribe to in your own calendar, and your appointments show up there. There is no two-way sync with Outlook or Google.

Can I invoice my clients?

Yes, in your own name. Bold Bloom does not appear as the issuer on the invoice. You enter your invoicing details once, choose the German small-business rule under § 19 UStG or standard taxation, and get your own number range that stays unchanged from then on. Your logo and your footer text appear on it.

What happens after the 30 days, and to my data if I stop?

If you do not take a paid plan, your account continues free of charge on Solo after the 30 days and your data stays. You can cancel yourself. You request an export in the settings; the download link arrives by email and is valid for 24 hours. If you delete your account the data is gone, files included, and it ages out of the backups within 90 days at the latest.
